Dragon lantern, also known as dragon dance, is an ancient Chinese folk dance. It reflects the worship of the Dragon by the ancient Chinese people. It is about 20 meters long and 60 - 70 centimeters in diameter. It is made of iron wire inside, light bulbs or candles installed, and coated with gauze outside. The dragon dancers are made up of dozens of people. One person used embroidery balls to fight dragons in front of him, and the rest all lifted dragons to perform such actions as "two dragons play pearls", "two dragons come out of water", "fire dragons take off", "dragons make trouble in the sea". The dragon lantern is a traditional Lantern Festival for Han and minority nationalities. Legend has it that dragon is an auspicious tendency, so people hold dragon lantern dancing activities every Spring Festival, Lantern Festival, lantern fair, temple fair and harvest year. In general, bamboo, wood, paper and cloth are made into sections, which are all odd numbers. According to their colors, their images can be divided into "dragon" and "green dragon". "White dragon" and "Yellow Dragon" are called "dragon lanterns" which can burn candles in each section.
